Pre-Requisite: KCSI approved introductory course
Tuition for the KCSI certification is $1208.33 month for 12 months.
Continuum 1: 3-Day Surgical Symposium
This Continuum includes: advanced armamentarium review; surgical extractions and management of complications including sinus bleeding, infection and nerve considerations, ridge preservation; hands on activities using models and pig jaws
Continuum 2: 45-Hour Instructor Led Online Course
Topics Include: Nerve Injuries; Infections; Sinus Exposure; Sedation; Ridge Preservation; Pre-operative Workup; Case Selection and much more. Includes comprehensive proctored online test
Continuum 3: 2-Day Live Patient Experience
Course Participants will perform live surgeries under supervision of KCSI Certified Instructors, Patient pre-evaluation and case critique.
Continuum 4: Board Review and Interview
Participants will subsequently perform surgeries and document 30 cases including anteriors, canines, premolars, 1st and 2nd molars and ridge preservation for review by KCSI instructors Presentation of 5 cases to KCSI Board in Oral Interview online. Upon successful completion of the review participant will be awarded the KCSI certification.
