Course Description

The KCSI Third Molar Impaction Surgery Program consists of four courses.

  • Continuum 4: Third Molar Impaction Surgery 
    • 14 Hours Didactic and Model Participation (6 Hours Didactic via Zoom, 8 Hours In-Person, Hands-On Model Surgery and Live Patient Treatment – Demo)

  • Post-Course Assessment for Continuum 4: Proficiency Certificate 
    • After completing Continuum 4, take a post-course assessment to receive a certificate and 3 CE Credits.
  • Shadow Surgery (1 Day)
    • Visit a surgeon’s office to observe third molar surgery.

  • In-Office Personal Mentoring (2 Days)
    • A surgeon visits your office for 2 days and assists you treating your third molar patients.

*Completing Continuum 4: Third Molar Impaction Surgery is a requirement for the KCSI Certification Program. Proficiency Certificate, Shadow Surgery and In-Office Personal Mentoring are optional, supplemental courses to further your knowledge and experience with third molars.
