Innovative ONLINE Hands-On Surgical SymposiumThis is not just another online extraction course.  Today’s pandemic crisis has prompted adaptations in teaching methods and reinvention of dental continuing education.  KCSI leads the way in delivering live, hands-on CE available online, with all the benefits of a live course, without the need to travel or stay in a hotel.   The first of four continua, this innovative surgical symposium delivers comprehensive training to help increase your expertise and confidence with surgical extractions. Course participants will engage in 8 hours of online didactic at their own pace, before joining the live online course on July 17-18.  Log in using Zoom for meetings, and utilize a webcam to display your work to instructors throughout the hands-on portion.  Innovative Dental CE Course is Led by World-Class Instructors

Dr. Karl KoernerKarl R. Koerner, DDS, MS

Dr. Koerner has presented hundreds of didactic and participation oral surgery courses to general dentists in the U.S. and abroad.  He currently teaches in the Oral Surgery Department at Roseman University of Health Sciences,  College of Dental Medicine in Utah. Dr. Koerner is the author of many articles on various aspects of oral surgery for the general dentist and has authored or co-authored four books on oral surgery.  In addition, he has made several surgery DVDs with Dr. Gordon Christensen in Utah.  He is past president of the Utah Dental Association and Utah Academy of General Dentistry.

Though not an oral surgeon, Dr. Koerner received surgery training in the U.S. Army where he completed a general practice residency.  He was given the National AGD’s Weclew award for his contributions to dental education.

Dr. JOrdan Davis

Jordan Davis, DDS     

After graduating from Creighton School of Dentistry, Dr. Davis completed a one-year oral surgery internship at Wexner Medical Center at Ohio State University. He has been an Adjunct Professor at Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine in the Oral Surgery Department.  Dr. Davis has a clinical training facility in his Bountiful, UT office where he and his partner teach continuing dental education programs and maintain a full time dental practice.  Dr. Davis has presented oral surgery and dental implant training courses both across the country and internationally for prestigious dental education programs.   He has developed and presented surgical extraction training courses and online courses for KCSI, as well as mentored in our patient treatment courses. KCSI is proud to have him as a faculty member in our program.
